Parents received valuable information from our ESL teachers and had the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about how we support our English learners. Author and former ESL student Alejandro Quintero Rosales visited our ESL students this week to share an inspiring message about the importance of hard work, self-confidence, and putting yourself out there to meet new people who can help you learn and grow. He spoke about how these connections and experiences can have a positive impact on the future. We are grateful to Mr. Rosales for taking the time to motivate and encourage our students! ✨
👑✨ Hear Ye, Hear Ye! A Royal Celebration! ✨👑
Our kindergarteners have been on a truly royal adventure! 👸🤴 They’ve been learning all about kings and queens, what it means to be royal, and how royal families live—exploring everything from nonfiction facts and etiquette to beloved stories like Cinderella, The Princess and the Pea, and Old King Cole! 🎶📚
To wrap up this exciting unit, our gym was transformed into a magnificent royal ballroom 💃🕺✨ where our young royals danced, played, sang, and celebrated in true kingdom style. The smiles, laughter, and joy filled the room, and it was a terrifically royal time for all! 👑💖
What a magical way to bring learning to life—long live our kindergarten kings and queens! 👏✨

We are excited to partner with Soles4Souls, who has generously donated new, brand-name athletic shoes through their 4EVERYKID program, helping #BedfordCountySchools McKinney-Vento students.
📍Shoe collection bins are in each of our schools and at the Central Office.
Let’s give back—one step at a time! 💙
Thank you for helping us support #students, families and communities around the world.

🌙✨ Today Mr. Rhodes 5th grade students reached for the stars—well, the moon! 🌞➡️🌙
They explored how the moon doesn’t change shape, but appears to change as the sun’s light hits it from different angles. From new moon to full moon, our classroom was full of curiosity, great questions, and plenty of “aha!” moments. Science is out of this world! 🚀🌌

Our “Librarian for the Day” did an amazing job taking on the full responsibilities of our school librarian! 📖👏
He read books to students, checked books in and out, stamped papers for the book challenge, and even helped shelve books like a pro. We are so proud of his hard work, responsibility, and enthusiasm for helping others enjoy reading!
