A HUGE thank you to Carmel Clinic and Lacy Moore, FNP for offering FREE sports physicals next week for our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students who need a physical and plan to try out for our basketball or cheer teams! 💜💛
⭐ REMINDER: All students MUST have a current physical AND a completed paperwork packet before they can participate in clinics or tryouts.
If your child plans to participate but has not received a paperwork packet, please send a note to school with your child requesting a tryout packet and have them give it to their teacher.

As Mrs. Hyatt read, the students listened, engaged, and explored Dolly’s message about feelings and the colors that can represent them. What a sweet way to turn their curiosity into a meaningful learning moment! 🌈💛

Families received helpful resources to take home, including practice sentences, learning materials and information about upcoming opportunities for parents and #students. 📖📝
Most importantly, the event highlighted the power of family involvement. We are grateful to the ESL parents who took the time to attend, learn, ask questions and play an active role in their children’s education. Their support makes a meaningful difference! 💙
A special #ThankYou goes to Dunkin’ Donuts for generously providing coffee and donuts ☕🍩 and to Mrs. Kathy Reed, Elementary Instructional & ESL Supervisor, for joining the event and supporting our families.

🏫💬 Another Town Hall, Another Opportunity to Listen & Look Ahead💬 🏫
Recently, families and community members gathered at #CascadeHighSchool for another Town Hall with Superintendent Tim Harwell. The evening provided an opportunity to hear more about his vision for #BedfordCountySchools and to ask questions about the experiences and opportunities available to students.
📚 Discussions covered a wide range of topics, including early identification and support for dyslexia, intervention services, high school supports, student transportation and bus schedules, school safety, CTE opportunities and leadership continuity.
Community members also shared questions and ideas surrounding technology, school partnerships and additional opportunities that could support students.
These conversations are an important part of looking at what is working, identifying opportunities for growth and continuing to put the needs of #students and families at the forefront.
