Hello and welcome to my classroom page!

 

My name is Kristie Collier and I am currently teaching 3rd grade Math and Social Studies.  I was born and raised in Bedford County.  My husband, Kevin, was also born and raised in Bedford County.  He is the Vice-President of Operations at Goggin Warehousing.  We have two children.  Our son, Jarrett, is in his third year of college at MTSU.  Our daughter, Jacey, is a sophomore at Community High School.  We attend Southside Church of Christ.  We are very involved with our church and have been on several mission trips.  We enjoy spending time together watching and playing sports and traveling.

 

All of my life I wanted to be a teacher.  I attended MTSU where I obtained my degree in education. I have been teaching for 23 years which have all been at Community Elementary. Community Elementary is a great place to work and feels like home to me.
